In addition to observing the light as it dances on our snow covered Crazy Mountains, I love watching birds around our home in the Lowcountry of South Carolina or on our ranch in Montana. For hours I will watch, mesmerized with interest and curiosity, as they hunt, gather food, fly with their prey, and feed their young. Included with these foraging American Kestrels and Tree Swallows is a 150 lb. black bear gorging on chokecherries on our ranch.
